   Though this is a beautiful boot that is clearly well made, it is very narrow, tight in the arch area and not made for a person with medi size calves. I had to return the boot due to these issues.

   Cute boot! But……Would definitely go 1/2 size bigger, not as comfortable as I would have hoped for and the color is more of a brown black not a gray black like picture.

   I think these are really beautiful. Good quality and even more comfortable than my Ariat’s. In my opinion, I think they look brown in person and not black-I think from all of the distressing. I was looking for black tones and these really aren’t black or grey at all. But they are awesome so I am keeping them. I wear an 8.5 or 9 in general, and the 8.5 fits me great, although I have a bit of a narrow heel and slender calves.

   I got these boots in 2018 and have loved them up until very recently, when they started bothering me (4 years later). These boots are so beautiful and stylish, I can’t go anywhere in them without multiple strangers coming up and giving me compliments on how cute they are! Also very versatile as far as what I can wear them with. Here are the down sides though: they only come in full sizes, so I had to get them slightly too big and then get big puffy insoles to make them fit more snugly (that gave them more support and cushion though, so it ended up being a good thing). The biggest down side after 4 years of wearing them is that they are a bit stiff (like all cowboy boots) and so they don’t allow my arch to move through its full range of motion when I walk. That means, more recently, the arch of my right foot started aching, feeling stiff and squeezed, just walking around the grocery store, which never used to happen and never happens when I wear more supple/flexible shoes like running shoes. Still I’d highly recommend these, especially if you’re young and don’t have any signs of plantar fasciitis. It may be that I’m just getting old, so now they’re bothering my arch in a way they never did when I first got them.

   Beautiful boot but did not like the shaft height on my legs so had to return. The craftmanship is high quality!
